I was born in Illinois, grew up in Louisiana, and began my professional teaching career in California. I have no children or pets but I love dogs (Rotts, Shepherds, Labs, Cockers) . I would describe myself as down-to-earth, calm but adventurous, gentle but assertive, and quiet but confident. I am a Christian woman made whole by the love of God. The glass IS half-full. In my spare time I like to read, travel, cook, watch movies, horseback ride, scuba dive, ski, rock climb, volunteer, workout weekly and spend time with friends.
