Are you looking for a warm but sharp, emotionally mature woman with a great sense of humour, and a profound sense of whimsy? I'm looking for someone independent and self-supporting who loves life and has a natural passion and curiousity for life. I stay fit, all that good stuff, swim 5-6 k a week, especially when I'm busy. Love cycling, live right on the seawall. Love movies and classical concerts, especially at the Chan.
A love for my community encourages me to contribute where I am able. I travel when it's possible, especially to dryer, warmer places, like New Mexico?looking to go to San Miguel de Allende very soon. Love classical music, and work as a professional artist, so if you have an appreciation for the arts, that would be wonderful! You know, all the usual stuff people write, it's a bit difficult, but I'm a frank, transparant person, so just ask.
While I'm a warm, cuddly person, have to say I'm definitely not looking for sex in the immediate future, but a good friend who would be open to a commitment if we are compatible. I'm really not in a big hurry in the least. Very happy with my life, I'm secure, have good friends and great job, but I would love to share my life. My faith/spirituality is a very important part of my life: there is an abiding presence keeping me company. Although I sincerely struggle with organized religion, (who doesn't?) , I'm A CS Lewis kind of Christian. You know, "Mere Christianity", "Screwtape Letters" & "The Narnia Chronicles". . . Currently trying to get through "The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind". I also love animals?wildlife, pets. Nature, of course.
Well it's Friday night in the Big City again. Growing up in Vancouver, I thought of Vancouver as MY town. If I didn't know you, I knew someone who knew you?outside, three degrees of separation. Now, looking out my window from the South Shore of False Creek, prompts me to say "Who ARE all these people?" Don't own it anymore!
