I enjoy: Keeping fit by working out, tennis or bike riding. I enjoy going out with my friends after tennis. I love going to movies, dining out, cooking together, trying new places, live music now and then. I also have an appreciation for the arts. Iam thankful for: My salvation, My two grown daughters, Being blessed with a good job and a good home. Last Book Read : I picked up an old best seller that I had not read yet. It was "Into Thin Air" which was about the ill-fated Mount Everest expedition. It was provoking and very well written. It made me stop and think how precious life, loves and friendship is. God's Hand : God has always blessed me in many ways. One way in particular was in 1994 in San Antonio. After two days of playing a tennis tournament in 100+ degree heat, I was driving back to Houston. I had heat stroke while driving 75 mph on I-10 and passed out at the wheel. God guided my car and my car stopped 15 feet from on-coming traffic. When I came to, I put the car in park and realized what had happened. Long story short. . . . not a scratch on me or the car. Although, I ended up in the hospital, I survived and give God the glory for His supreme hand on my life. I had to give up the tennis tournaments after that!
