I love living in Denver - the combination of city and outdoors appeals to both sides of my personality. I like going to shows with at the Denver Art Museum ( I really like the Impressionists) , tasting flights at a wine bar, taking in a show at the Denver Center for Performing Arts, and wandering around the Tattered Cover for a couple of hours. I also like nature walks and riding horses - I used to have an Appaloosa mare, and grew up in Western Montana and therefore know which part of a tent goes up. I'd rather read than watch TV, and can't even remember the last time my television was turned on? Maybe during the 2003 Broncos season? But I do have fun going to the movies. My favorite movie is probably "Contact", because of the religion/science dichotomy (of course, the book was better!) I enjoy traveling, and am hoping to go to Italy sometime this year. My favorite city is Manhattan; I can go again and again, and never get tired of it. I could possibly even live there for a couple of years, if it didn't mean leaving everything and everybody I love in Colorado. I love political discussions even if it is a taboo subject, because I like hearing what and why people believe, as it helps me understand more of the world and how others see it. My spiritual life is the basis of my world, and my church family is wonderful. I relish open, exploring conversations about God that help me grow and see Him in new ways.
