Ok, time for a re-write. A recent discussion on "chat" has prompted me to explain my screen name. It comes from Romans 7:24. The Apostle Paul is explaining the struggle he (and all men) have between the sinful nature and the desire to follow God. Romans is a fantastic book, and chapters 7 and 8 are beautiful in the logical explanation presented by Paul. Since my background is heavy in mathematics and logic systems, I am impressed by the simplicity and beauty in Paul's argument, and it is this part of the Bible that compelled me to become a Christian. It is NOT meant to be self-deprecating or any way a negative reflection of whom I am. I am completely sold out to the Gospel of Jesus. I've drunk the "Kool-Aid", so to speak. But like Paul, I am a regular guy and I struggle daily under the weight of God's authority and my desires to do things my own way. I am employed full-time, own my own home, and make a decent living. I love animals, particularly small-breed dogs (I was a Yorkie daddy for ten years, until he passed this last April - I loved that dog!). My job requires me to travel a great deal. In 2008 I have been to Hawaii, California (my home state), Georgia, Kentucky, Texas and Washington D. C. I am happy to exchange e-mails, though I am not yet a subscriber. Blessing to you!
