I apologize for no picture, but I'm slightly technologically-inept and I'm not sure how to make it small enough. When my son gets back after New Year's he'll help me! :o)
I'm 45 years old, but sometimes forget to act like it! I have trouble sitting still for any length of time (must be because I'm used to chasing my students!) and like to keep active. I prefer outdoor activities, I love to camp and hike and garden. I'm defiinitly a people person: I like square dancing (difficult without a partner!) , game nights with friends, church activities, etc. Occasionally I will sit down long enough to read, do crossword puzzles or watch a movie (comedy or drama, usually) . I like to clean house, organize, throw things out (beware!) and I enjoy cooking. I am quite independent (been divorced for 14 years) , I might have to work on that a little. I'm pretty basic, can't see the sense in throwing a lot of money into clothes, furniture and housing. Okay, I confess, I did buy a burgundy leather couch 5 years ago and I love it! Most importantly, I love the Lord with all my heart and am looking for someone who feels the same way. By the way, my daughter is out of the house (Air Force) and my son is a junior in high school and is talking about following in his sister's footsteps. I'm afraid it's going to be kind of lonely around here with them both gone. I guess I'm starting to feel it already and that's why I'm on this site! Truthfully, it's because I'm ready to BE a wife, as well as WANT a best friend/ lover/husband all rolled into one.
