I am a newly divorced mom of a 10 yr old. I am recently unemployed after working 2 jobs, and decided to finish my education in the paralegal field. I enjoy most sports, and cannot stand to sit too long! I enjoy working my mind as well as my body. I enjoy biking, dancing, roller blading, football (I was a quarterback in HS), camping, hiking, gardening, canning, and traveling. I have yet to try para-sailing, but I would like too. I have made a career out of education--taking classes ranging from sign language to anatomy and pysiology.
I am looking for a man who is not afraid to cry at a good movie, as well as make a fool of himself at the park. (I can still do flips on the trampoline--though I did fracture my optical bone this last year. . hmmm). I love a man who is handy, or at least resourceful. Money is not important--that bouquet of wildflowers is just as special as the hot house roses. I do love to be active though, and I am always interested in seeing the latest show, touring the museum (with or without kids) as well as just taking a picnic lunch to the beach one day. After a hard day at work/school, I like to sit by the fire, put in a good movie (I like all kinds except the REALLY gory ones) and sip a glass of wine. I put God on a back burner during my "midlife crisis", and lost alot of the things that I now realise were the treasures of life, but are hoping to regain some with a person like-minded. I love snuggling by a campfire as well as chearing at a Bears game. I can go to a ball, and then play "pretend" with the little ones. God has given me alot of gifts, and one of them is to love life and people. Share the joy!
