I tend to be more reserved when I first meet someone new. I enjoy time spent with friends and family. Taking trips along back roads discover unique places is something I don't get to do enough of. I love books and enjoy reading and learning new things. . I believe it is important to be able to laugh at ones self in life. I look forward to meeting someone intelligent, with a sense of humor, passionate, sense of family values, a background of Faith. I would like the individual to challenge me, have interesting conversation, bring something to the table I may not have though or was never interested in before.
Meeting someone online is really not my first choice as a means of finding a relationship. It appears that life for a lot of people(myself included) has gotten so hectic that we often don't have time to meet people.
Some of my favorite past times are white-water rafting. Last our singles group went to Ocoee in TN but usually I go with a group of friends to the Gauley in WV. I enjoy the Pacers and have been to some Colts games but I am not much of a baseball fan, sorry. I also enjoy church activities, flea markets, car shows, state parks, traveling, trying new restaurants and reading (I am extremely passionate about knowledge and love to learn). I am very family oriented and love to do things with my children and visit my relatives in FL and when I get a chance go deep sea fishing when I am down there. I almost forgot a few other things I really enjoy, the theater, movies and rodeos! What am I looking for? Someone who is intelligent, has a sense of humor, someone who is passionate, has a background of Faith( a personal relationship with Christ not just religion)and someone who takes care of themselves physically as in being active etc. I would like a person who would challenge me, who enjoys interesting conversation some one who might bring something to the table I had not thought of before or until that moment was never interested in. (a little chemistry doesn't hurt either) Basically, I am looking for a man with integrity, who has a passion for God and who can help me to be a better person and strengthen my own Faith and be a best friend. On a more romantic note a perfect evening for me would be a candle light dinner with soft music in the background ( maybe Frank)snow gently drifting down (I moved up here from FL, I like snow) and a roaring fire (real wood not gas) in the fireplace (see, we need the snow so we can have a fire). Maybe after dinner maybe one of us would read a little from a book we have been sharing from, then. . .
