I was born and raised in Oak Park, IL. I moved to Cape Coral, FL when I was 15 and graduated from North Ft. Myers High School. I attended Indiana University where I earned a BS degree in English and a MS degree in secondary education. I married and had three children all of whom are now married with children of their own. ( Family, faith and friends are very important to me. ) I taught high school English for 28 years before retiring in 2005. I like to sing, dance, go camping and play tennis.
