Life is sweeter when lived as God intended, with a special loved one with whom you can share everything, including laughter, tears and all the everyday stuff that comes with being human.
I'm convinced that the simple pleasures, like a walk in the woods or watching a blazing sunset are the best. And that creating a relaxing home where others can come and find friendship, rest and perhaps some good food, has to be better than most other things I can think of. 'Being real' about trying to follow Jesus is something I'm working on and not always finding easy. This may sound pathetic for someone who was 'born again' in 1976 but somehow He has a way, just when you think you've got it all together, of showing up some aspect of your character that needs some serious pruning. So, if we do meet, please don't expect perfection, you'll need to cut me a little slack from time. I'll be glad to do the same for you, of course. Thanks for reading, God bless!
