A lot of my friends describe me as funny and laid back, but initially, I like to think that I'm pretty shy and serious, until I get to know someone. Although I'm not afraid to initiate conversation. For someone that's naturally shy, I ask a lot of questions. Personally, I prefer to just be observant of people, and how they react to situations or in conversation. You can learn a lot about people by just observing them!
I am too trusting, and it gets the best of me, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Just as I believe that every person on this earth is entitled to be loved, I believe everyone is entitled to be initially trusted. It's surprising how quickly people come to trust you, rather than dealing with the silent battle of words, actions and gestures to determine if they can, in fact, be trusted. I really strive to pursue friendships/relationships the best way I can by providing everything I have for them. I've been described as being everyone's best friend, and not really having any of my own. I just find it a lot more meaningful to be completely transparent in my character with people. That maybe "They will know we are Christians by our love. "
I seek wisdom in every experience I have with the bible, books, art, music, scenery, prayer, people and in times of joy, or pain. I try to fulfill each and every day when Jesus said, "When you see someone hungry, thirsty or in need of clothes and you take care of the need, you take care of me. "
