Don't settle for a glass half full!

Physically, mentally and spiritually to explore, learn, grow, enjoy, strive for all that this life can offer. . . . By oneself is sacred, shared with another is Heaven on Earth.
I am into personal growth, sharing and improving. So much to learn . . so little time! Secure and ready to enjoy life with a soulmate. . . . About me - consider very handsome, look and feel in 40's, positive, intelligent, quick wit, easy to get along with, ENTP, secure, honest. . . . Some isolated thoughts: I'm most happy when I'm relaxing with someone who is happy too. Before I die, I'd really like to vist Patagonia. The first thing people usually notice about me is my self confidence. One thing that people don't notice right away about me is my sensitivity. My favorite article of clothing is blue jeans. The most important thing in my life right now is my son. The most important quality I look for in someone is honesty. The best way to make me smile is smile. The last album that I bought was Pink Floyd Greatest Hits done by New Age groups and Tool. One of my biggest pet peeves is the griping of Democrats. I still wonder what I want to be when I grow up. A great way to spend a weekend would be a trip to Cancun. If I only had time to save one thing from my burning home (besides people), it would be my dog, Mr. Bumpy. My favorite line from a movie: "It's just a flesh wound" by the Black Knight in Monte Python's Holy Grail. One of the greatest songs is by the Stones: "You Can't Always Get What You Want" The title is wrong though. You always get what you want (most people don't know it though)! Victims need not apply. By the way, I can talk faster than I can type so I would be happy to expand on any of these topics and more with the right person. . . . Why am I doing this? Well a New Year's resolution, but really my most deep seated desire is to share all the wonders of life with . . . .

About you - beautiful, thin, positive, intelligent, quick wit, easy to get along with, ENTP?, secure, honest. . . . Likes to share life with a best friend. Accomplished, of course, but realizes that one's dues are never paid. Seeking to share, learn, enjoy all that life offers. Willing to work together to make a relationship work until death do us part. Caring and honest enough to tell me when you think I'm wrong and secure enough to ignore me if I tell you. Has your own interests that are different from mine, some I might like too and others that I have no interest in. Interested in some of mine and can't stand others. But, always, honest feedback. . . . . Active, but able to retreat from the world outside to our own world of our own making. Spiritual, knowing that God has control of all that happens . . . and not us. Thank God for that!
My past relationships have taught me. . .
No matter how accomplished a person is, no matter how skilled or how determined, no matter how much a person knows or learns, we are still "human. " And "humans" cannot succeed at a marriage, they are doomed to failure. A lasting marriage can only be achieved, nurtured and survive by the gift of God. Simply trust God and and let Him nurture it. Too bad we are "humans. " The real key to marriage is to be with a true Christian who truly trusts God. He can perfect, what we cannot.
To me, being a Christian means. . .
It's the only thing that matters during this life. After all, eternity is all that matters.
In five years, I see myself
Writing a few books, starting a few new businesses.
My favorite Bible passage is. . .
James 1:2-4. "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. "
Its not that I enjoy running into problems, but it is comforting to know that the perseverance it creates leads to our perfection in God's eyes. The real beauty of this passage is that once one can TRULY REJOICE IN A TRIAL, then this life cannot inflict any pain. Am I there yet? . . . unfortunately, I am human.

"Now for something completely different. " - - - Monte Python
Best movie: "Being There" with Peter Sellers
Best movie scene: "It's just a flesh wound" by the Black Knight in "Holy Grail" by Monte Python. Best sequelled movies: "Back to the Future" series.
Best song: "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by Rolling Stones (misnomer, of course)Best album: "The Wall" by Pink Floyd.
Best group albums (CDs) to be stranded on an island with: Pink Floyd. Best dance group: New Order

I'd rather be dancing than typing. As to typing, I am an ENTP. The DISC rates me a "persuader. "
The only mistake is to repeat one. To not err is to not live. . . . Wait, that's getting a bit too serious.

I am simply looking for someone to enjoy life with. . . . aaaaah, that's better.
