I am an active, fairly energetic woman who likes to learn and try new things. I attend a local church on a regular basis. I have been a Christian since college, though I had always attended church growing up. My heart's desire is to first be fully in love with the Lord Jesus. My family and friends are highly important to me, but my family does come first after the Lord. The loss of my sister in a car accident last year has made my family priorities even stronger.
My road has not been easy, but along with the struggles, I have found the faithfulness and joy of the Lord. He has remained by my side through thick and thin and it is my hope and prayer to likewise do the same. I have a passion for photography, learning, and children. I taught elementary and preschool age children for about 10 years before moving into the field of corporate training. I love the challenge of working in Information Technology, learning, training and writing. Though I truly enjoy this, my dream is to some day work from home doing either fine art photography or children's portraiture - or more likely, a combination of both. I have pursued photography for almost 10 years now and it has become quite a passion of mine. I have had a few shows and have an online gallery of images. I have found this to be a wonderful way to keep in touch with the beauty of God's creation and to share it with others. It is also a great way to channel my creativity.
I hope to eventually find a husband to share my life with. I am looking for a deep friendship and life partnership in which we challenge one another to an ever-deepening relationship with the Lord. I believe this starts with friendship and progresses from there as the Lord leads. As much as I would like this for my life, I have found contentment as a single person and would rather remain a content single person than a person who is unequally yoked in marriage. May the God of all glory bless you with a deepening knowledge of who He is and insight to His purposes for your life.
