I'm a warm and compassionate man, a deep thinker who loves to laugh. I'm looking for a devout Christian woman who would like to cuddle in front of a roaring fire on cold evenings and share a hymnal on Sunday mornings. I want a best friend to share my life with. I think the perfect first date is one where we would have plenty of chance to talk, but the focus is on something else. Like a trip to the zoo or a museum, where we can walk and talk and get to know each other. My Biblical heroes are Daniel, whose faith never wavered, and Enoch, whose walk with God was so intimate that it one day simply continued into Eternity. I aspire to that kind of walk. I think all things are possible with prayer. In recent years God has placed two special burdens on my heart--for the poor, hungry, and suffering of the world, and the plight of persecuted Christians in non-Christian nations. I work in an administrative position, but my passion is writing. I've had plays produced in New York and Hollywood, as well as various regional theaters and colleges. Writing doesn't pay the bills, hence the day job, but it has definitely been an adventure. In my travels around the country, I've stood in the Wright Brothers' bicycle shop and toured Edison's laboratories. I've been to the graves of Edgar Allan Poe and Ralph Waldo Emerson and watched the sunset over Walden Pond. I've eaten lobster in Maine and oysters in New Orleans, seen Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon . . . and sat in darkened theaters watching characters come to life who had previously existed only in the privacy of my own mind. Drop me a line. You never know!
