I grew up in public schools and am comfortable showing my faith in a secular world.
I grew up with a Quaker, Baptist, Mennonite, multi-denominational background - not ecumenical. Christ is central to my life. The Word shows us right from wrong. I am pro-life. Was one of two males in a pro-choice/pro-life art exhibit. It was an education to hear the women artists share about their work and lives. I enjoy a broad range of music, classical, folk (and folk dance some swing), jazz, international, pop. Generally I prefer hymns to praise tunes. It is a joy for me to play some guitar and violin.
I am a graphic designer. IdeaDesign. netI lean toward cleaner movies, often old or unusual ones. I left Disney as Eisner was coming in, over a film that taught poor morals and was to be aired on the Disney Channel where I was partly responsible for promotions.
Trivia: I sat Mrs. Disney to dinner twice and Cary Grant a few times. When I read, it is usually scripture or non-fiction. I like the water, kayak, sail, and snorkel. I am not into competitive sports. I'll get in and play some things on occasion, but don't ask me to play or watch football.
I can be a good listener and sensitive to others. Most would say I am usually diplomatic and forthcoming. I am an ISTJ. I still hope to start a family.
