When Peter got out of the boat to walk to Jesus on the water, he was wanting more of Jesus than he had ever had before and was willing to risk it all to have it. However, when he began to sink, he found himself more desperate than ever before as a result of his willingness to pursue Christ. Yet as soon as his Lord took his hand and rescued him, helped him into the boat, they were immediately at "the other side". Peter was moved on to the next phase of his life with Christ miraculously by stepping out. I pray that this is where I am. Stepping out by faith, willing to find more of Jesus, and find the man of God I can serve Him with for the rest of my life. Also hoping to be transported by His spirit to the next phase of serving Him, on the other side of pain, hurt and rejection as I am sure most of you are too. All my friends warn against meeting people on line. But, I'm willing to step out of the boat and meet a new friend. Let's write and share some stories. I'm sure we can make each other laugh a bit if we don't take ourselves too seriously.
