The yard of my heart has a SOLD sign on it now! Yes I am now spoken for. Thanks for stopping by.
Here are a few things about me that you may find helpful to know. FUN ACTIVITIES: Depending of course on season my activities vary widely. My basic premise is that I keep myself physically fit enough to do just about anything. My favorite sport is volleyball, but I like golf, tennis, racquettball, roller blading, basketball, street hockey, frisbee, white water rafting, alpine sliding, camping, fishing, bowling, billiards, ping pong, and just about any card or board game, especially catch phrase. I thoroughly enjoy water sports and I am ready to go to the lake and jet ski right now! My favorite activity on the water is to take a quiet rowboat out on the lake, away from the misquitos and float around at sunset. My workout schedule fluctuates some based on my travel schedule but a minimum of 3 days a week at the fitness center each week is my goal. I like to go to the gym when it is very crowded!! I am motivated by the others around me, I like to see friends there although I workout on my own. Sporting events are fun too, I have been to Dodger Stadium, Angels Stadium, Coors Field, Anaheim Duck Pond, Arrowhead, Cowboys Stadium, Conseco Fieldhouse* and a few others. This year I want to see a game at Wrigley and Fenway. MOVIES & STUFF: Most of the time I purchase multiple DVD's and put them on the shelf for a while till I have a chance to watch them. This process has built me a library of over 250 DVD's mostly consisting of Comedies, Romances and a wide variety of animated films. I have recently built a surround sound system which really has made the movies come alive, if you have a nice system you understand what I am talking about. My screen name was derived from my favorite movie. I will give you a clue here that Westley is in pursuit of Princess Buttercup and he must storm the castle with his comrades Fezzic and Indigo Mantoya to steal her away from the arrogant but funny Prince Humperdink. That is my quest here on Omaha Singles is to find my Princess Buttercup. . . hehe so if you believe you qualify give me a shout out. Some of my recent favorite movies in the last couple years are Shangia Knights, MBF Greek Wedding, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Wedding Planner and Big Fat Liar. Some of my favorite standbys from the past are the Home Alone Trilogy, The Star Trek New Generation Trilogy, Father of the Bride I & II, Rookie of the Year (Daniel Stern) , Mr. Destiny, Les Miserables, Sound of Music, Parent Trap, Caddyshack II, True Lies, Emporers New Groove, What About Bob, The Mask of Zoro, and any Abbot & Costello or Pink Panther Movie. I avoid movies that contain nudity, I will bless the day they come out with the blank out mechanism where you can remove all of the profanity and nudity and enjoy the creative genius of the movie and not get distracted with all the junk.
EATING FAVORITES: For a main dish my top 3 would be Lobster, Scallops and Crab. For lunch fresh mock crab salad just cannot be beat. You will here me say mmmm mmmm. . . just like Bill Murray in "What about Bob". My favorite desert would be Braum's softserve ice cream, if I am anywhere near Oklahoma I gotta stop! OK, now I will tell you what I normally eat. Most of my meals come out of the blender, I make soyshakes, smoothies, and such all the time. I drink slimfast for lunch and usually skip breakfast. I am extremely easy to please in the food department, generally no cooking required. My favorite snack foods are nuts and cheese, not the healthiest but they are snacks right? My Weber Gas Grill is always ready to fire up and make you a wonderful feast of your choice, I love it. Finally I grocery shop at Walmart for food every Saturday, I use coupons, I match food ads and I keep my grocery list on an Excel spreadsheet. OK, my friends told me to leave the spreadsheet part out because it would freak a women out, but in my career I spend most of my time engineering and organizing so that is where it comes from. I think an organized and uncluttered life removes a great deal of stress. Actually, it frees you up to be much more creative and spontaneous overall, it is a strange thing how it works. CAREER: I thank God I don't have a job where I am chained to the desk all day long. Do I have paperwork? Yes, a bunch but I do some travel from coast to coast maybe 8 days a month or so depending on our project load. The team of Christian guys I work with are a great support for me both professionally and in my personal life and my walk with God. I have a home office too and if I want to I can work from my home anyday. Around the office we call it "Working Virtual". I dont leave my laptop behind very often because I like to be connected whenever I can. Yes I go through spells where I wish I didnt have a computer but not very often.
FINANCES: I am financially secure with absolutely no debt. All of my major assets are paid off including my house and vehicle. I have a fully remodeled house, which I did most of the work myself, well furnished. I do not carry credit card balances over, they are paid every month. Good IRA in place and that kind of thing. Being free from debt is a great joy! Recently I decided to try selliing some things on Ebay and I just became a "Power Seller" which is kinda cool. I sold about $ 4, 000 of stuff out of my closets. Uncluttering and getting paid to do it is awesome. CHRISTIAN WALK: I always wanna mention that I love Jesus and want to serve Him with my entire life, that will be a constant. I am not religious but I do enjoy the disciplined life for the most part. God's principles reap great rewards and He is totally faithful. I enjoy upbeat worship, small group study, dynamic preaching, loving my Christian family and spending time with my family and friends is such a joy. I love large family gatherings, whether they are my family or not!! Please look me up anytime, even if we just go for a walk in the e-park online that would be fantastic. I am usually up late and for the most part I dont do early mornings. Always remember that you are a precious gift from God to those around you and please send me a note I would love to make your acquantance. The following list I obtained through grueling research and found that it has elements of my overall personality so that you may understand me better:
Dopey: the youngest, sweetest, and silliest of the seven, and the only one to be completely bald and beardless; wears a too large lime green tunic and purple cap. *Grumpy: the grouchiest and most curmudgeonly of the group, though even he is supremely devoted to the beautiful Snow White; wears a red tunic, long white hair and beard. Doc: the only one of the dwarfs to wear glasses (so presumably the most intellectual) ; wears an orange-brown tunic, long white hair and beard. Happy: the most rotund of the dwarfs; wears a brownish two-tone tunic, yellow cap, long white hair and beard.
Bashful: evokes his bashful nature through a classic pose of shyness (hands clasped behind back, shoulders slightly raised, eyes upturned) ; sometimes difficult to distinguish between Sneezy and Sleepy; depicted in purple tunic and magenta cap (on video) , as well as long white hair and beard. Sneezy: frequently shown with one finger underneath his nose, as if trying to stifle a sneeze; sometimes difficult to distinguish between Sleepy and Bashful; wears a yellow-brown tunic, long white hair and beard. Sleepy: perhaps the most difficult to differentiate between Sleepy and Bashful, though he wears a perpetually sleepy looking, heavily lidded expression on his face; wears a brownish tunic, green cap, long white hair and beard.
