I heard the Lord's call when I was 17. I was born again in 1984, after moving from Seattle to Nebraska with the NPS. Now stationed in North Dakota, I may be chilled to the bone 4 months a year, but am "strangely warmed" each day by God's gentle presence in my heart. My 19-year-old son inspires me to be more like Jesus. As he grew, we spent lots of time outdoors, joking around, talking about Jesus and life, doing missions trips, riding our bikes, and hanging out with friends. I'm praying for doors to open where I can serve in creation care ministry like leading teen conservation crews or wilderness camps. I'm very thankful for a good job and a nice little house. But now that David has graduated, I'm very mobile. ND is quiet and inexpensive, but also lonely and a bit conservative. Money and position aren't important to me. I like to spend time with friends and alone, especially outdoors. Culturally, I enjoy people from around the world, and miss the diversity I was raised around. I take great care of my health. I love to play at team sports for fun. Until the Lord answers my question about "When? and Where?", my mission is being Jesus at work, being a friend to younger Christian ladies and helping with youth group. I am praying for a soul mate who's deeply commited to the Lord, has a good sense of humor and takes good care of himself. God bless you in your search!
