(Currently unable to send/receive mail; just smiles. ) I'm a Christian single mom of two fine young men, ages 20 and 27; a sweet daughter-in-law, a precious granddaughter (and expecting another in the spring), and a dear future daughter-in-law. I taught in SC public schools for 28 years, retired, and began my second career as an assistant principal in NC. After six years, I still love my work and don't know when I will really retire (probably when my son finishes his degree). I live near the SC/NC state line and did not have to move for my job. I have lived in my home in the country for 28 years. As a Southern Baptist, I love the Lord and enjoy serving Him. Over the years I have taught Sunday School, Training Union/Discipleship Training, and GA's. For many years I served as children's choir director, youth choir director, pianist, organist, soloist, choir member, and on and on. I have been blessed to have sung duets with my dad (guitarist) since I was very young. I am accustomed to attending all church services held at my church. As a compassionate person, I believe in loving my fellowman and helping where I can. It's important to be kind to each other, especially in a marriage. Mates need to listen to each other, lend a helping hand, know how to communicate, refrain from raising their voices, show affection, trust and believe each other, enjoy spending quality time together and with family, worship together, never say and do things to belittle the other. I believe that God has a special someone for me, and that in His own time, He will make it possible for us to meet. Keep on trusting!
