Country living. Trusting in God each and every day, so no hassles! Giving thanks so very often in everything. For many years I was a Foster mom for a total of 25 long term "special needs" children. . . those abandoned after serious abuse, severly handicapped, mentally ill, emotionally unstable, phycially ill, and even dying. It was a mission God gave, He provided for, He blessed, and He gave the strength. In 2002 I had a vehicle accident and it brought an abrupt change in my ability to continue in that mission. . . but HE KNOWS what He is doing! Always. I was 6 months in hospital, and then a bit over a year living near my daughter "getting use to" being in a wheelchair for awhile. I am back to my own home now! A very determined (in Christ) lady. I get along just fine, NOTHING can seperate me from the love and caring of Christ, nor from His strength. For some reason He has allowed the tides to change, and instead of caring for those wonderful children He has me taking a break using the ramp outside for me instead of for children! I am not sure yet what he will have me do next. . . but I know it will be for His glory! With another surgery I should be out of chair by next year! Those that don't write to me because I am in a wheelchair. . . shame on you!*Smile* There are many beautiful people with various situations. . and to limit our friends to specific "must be athletic, gotta be thin, etc" is quite the opposite of what Jesus came to teach us. I have grown children, and I live alone. I love the Lord, I really enjoy driving, reading, meeting people, and coming home to my little house in the country. God is good. . . all the time!!!!
