Hello, My name is Warren and thank you for taking your time to read more about me. My trial is over so you will have to write me if you would like to talk, Well I guess I should start by, if you think success is built on material things, you need read no further, I am sorry, I have lived that life and can tell you it hasnothing to do with family and or God, I am a single father and I am shortly going to follow a calling that I have spent half a lifetime rebelling against and also paying a heavy price for the free will that God give us all, but if you don't think he chastises the ones he loves, drop me a letter and I will share my testimony. I will enter school shortly for ministry, a big leap of faith for sure and pretty scary to say the least. I know I only need have the faith and he will provide for my family and me, but it is very hard to leave that comfort zone if you know what I mean? I will may be saying good-bye probably to a nice home; a job that at times has brought in a six-figure income, a church family. Not to mention my own family and packing up camp with my three children to do as what God calls. I do not at this time know the where's or when's. I do have most of the how's down, so that is a start. So I guess that I have that out of the way, I will tell you a little more about me, I love the outdoors and me and the kids spend much of our free time hiking, camping, goofing off at a stream or a lake, exploring something new, heading out on a free weekend unplanned and just drive, maybe to a beach, the mountains or maybe to sleigh on the first snow of the year, roller skating, fishing or pizza and movie night is not bad when at home. No dishes! :o) I enjoy taking a Caribbean trip or cruise once a year, if I can, as important as family time is, I think our time is very important also and cannot wait to have a spouse to enjoy some of these thing's with. Right now, I call a Baptist church home and have for 13 years, I am involved with several different ministries, including Divorce care, a singles group and a newly started divorce care for kid's ministry. I feel they are truly the ones that usually suffer the most through divorce. I do not want to miss-lead you in anyway and I am nowhere close to perfect and have my thorns, Like smoking and a battle back and forth with this addiction and I realize this should be totally gone by the time school starts! But I am thankful to be forgiven by his grace. Oh?I have been asked about Paul saying it is better to be single, I do not believe at all that is Gods will and it is taught to us from Genesis on out, I believe Paul was very convinced that the time of Christ's return was very near and preaching from that stance. I guess also too my fellow Christian sisters and brothers, I have noticed many of you have a wish list which makes a child Santa's list look small! I will only say be careful for what you ask for you may get it and it maybe wiser to show a humbler heart on telling God what you will take and not. I guess on my behalf, I will say, I only will not be un-equally yoked and I am sure that was to do with a believer and non-believer if you read. I know God has picked someone for me and you. I myself have a terrible picker as I am about to tell you more on some of my testimony, you will see. This is my third update and I really believe in total honesty and putting much upfront so you can pray and or decide if you want to open communication, so here it goes. I have been married twice the first time when I was eighteen, that was short lived and made it four years somehow, It ended in her having a affair with the man she later married, we where just kids and both of us are to blame, for neither of us walked a very Godly walk. Out of that I have two daughters; they are almost 17 and 18. My oldest Aryn will turn 18 on November 27th; she was a Thanksgiving baby. I had joint custody of them, but they pretty much they lived with their mother, who only lives five minutes away. They spent a lot of time here after school and weekends, not so much now, boys, ugh. Their great kids though and have maintained honor roll all the way through high school and stay very involved in church activities. My second marriage was for eleven years total and ended when I found out my wife and then best friend (also a deacon in my church) where having an affair, they continued to slide and still do so far down a path that is so destructive, its incredible. Drugs, drinking and loosing every penny they ever had. He has become very abusive and I had to get a protective order to keep my kids away from the situation. I guess really its just a daily reminder to me how messed up this world is and how far we can turn if we choose. Now I am a single parent, with full custody of three children, two more daughters age seven and thirteen and I have a son who is ten. Good thing I wanted a big family, huh? Hmmm. One-more thing I should probably add about my second wife, about 2 years before the affair she was diagnosed with MS and then quickly re-diagnosed with a very rare form of progressive MS. She spends more and more time in the hospital and is fading very quickly. I think this had a lot to do with the alcohol and the drug abuse. She cannot think clearly, cannot walk anymore, has lost a lot of others area also and is pretty much doomed by her disease. With in a year she will, at best be in a nursing home and be more like someone with Alzheimer's instead of MS. Well I think I am all typed out here and reading back this seems really down or something. I don't mean it to sound that way, me and my kids have a great life and a great time, but I figure its best to be upfront about how I got to where I am at now and I believe that God has much purpose for mine and there life's also: In no where in this writing is anything that resembles this crazy sense of humor I have?. another add on I guess! :o) God Bless every one of you and if you are still awake! Good luck! Warren
