My Christian faith truly defines who I am. In college, I began to realize my faith was much more than attending church and following rules. It is about an intimate relationship with Christ. It transformed me and changed me. That is what led me to work in ministry and travel the world as the missions director of my church. The past few years have been difficult and though I struggle, I have learned to rely on God and trust Him more than I ever have before. I am an intense, outgoing person. Most would say that I am nice, yet see me as a "fireball". I love people and see so much good in them and go out of my way to show compassion and offer grace, yet I am intense and serious about all that I do - somewhat of a perfectionist. Yet, I'm pretty simple and live a modest lifestyle.
