I haven't really considered dating and such until recently. My wife died thirteen years ago and and I've been busy working full-time and parenting. My son has now graduated from college. I retired recently and am looking forward to whatever God has planned for me next. I have an "empty nest" now but will never be bored. I have lots of interests to keep me busy. These include photography, fishing, canoeing, gardening, landscaping, attending sporting events as either a spectator or photographer, and, of course, spending lots of time at my church. Although it's obvious that I'm very much an outdoor, back-to-nature guy; I also enjoy concerts, plays, lectures and such. In retirement, I have rekindled my interest in nutrition, glyconutrients, and wellness. Most of my travel involves exploring Maine but I've been known to take much longer trips and to explore even a city or two! I also love oceans and beaches- doesn't everyone? I became a born-again Christian at a young age while being raised in a Christian family. I attend a Baptist church in a nearby city. I serve there in ushering, drama, evangelism and finances. Well, that's probably more than you needed or cared to know about me. It feels weird putting it to print. I'm looking for companionship first - be it occasional or long-term. Marriage? I'm enough of a romanticist to hope it will happen eventually. Looking forward to hearing from you.
