This profile is not for you, because of course I am not Julia Roberts. On some deep level though, I must say I suspect that Ms Roberts wishes that she could be me.
Who would not want the thrill of being a teacher like I am? I ask you: How can being paid exorbitant amounts of money to pretend to be someone that you're not (a la Ms Roberts) , compare to the reality of having eager young minds hanging on to your every word, and being paid not-so-exorbitant amounts of money for the privilege?Another advantage of not being Julia Roberts of course is that I don't have to endure having the most intimate aspects of my life being splashed all over the tabloids. . . . . . no, I much prefer to voluntarily disclose these details myself. . . on this website.
So since you unlikely to read about my likes and dislikes in The Sun, here are a few random headlines:
My most marked characteristic is that people view me as someone who can be all things to all people, some would say that there is a Bonita For All Occasions. My idea of perfect happiness is being healthy and being connected to people who allow me to just be. The trait I most admire in other people is emotional intelligence, those people who know themselves, and have the ability to understand what makes people tick. In myself, I most admire my independence.
My greatest extravagance is to go on holiday once or twice a year - though I can't say that I can match the style of Julia, I love to travel. If this resonates in any way with you, let me know. No. not you Richard!
