Born/raised in Australia. Educated in Community College system and then at a local Christian University. Especially enjoyed studying the integration of theology and psychology while majoring in counseling psychology. Spiritual, involved in church activities, currently in leadership role in Single's Ministry. Have recent experience facilitating Divorce Care Program as well. Accepting of others where they are at. Value direct communication. Analytical. Non-materialistic. Tend to be somewhat shy until I get to know others. Family oriented. Have long-term friendships of up to 40+ years. Live an active lifestyle. Love to travel, learn about/experience other cultures, read non-fiction, go ballroom dancing, listen to music (Mozart, Andrea Bocelli, Norah Jones, Michael Buble, Madeline Pereaux, Harry Connick, Jr, Christian, C&W) etc. ) and watch a good movie. . . "Out of Africa" is my current favorite. Hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming, yoga are also favorite activities. Don't watch TV. . . but if I did I would opt for PBS programs, CNN for news, and coverage of major sports events like the Olympics, the Stanley Cup, World Cup soccer, Wimbledon, etc. Qualities I value in a partner include spirituality, authenticity and congruency, honesty, good communication skills, sensitivity, compassion, encouragement, perserverance, and patience. Ideally, each would bring the best of themselves to the relationship and then bring out the best in each other.
