The Lord is my Hope which is why I am hopeful about my future. My life has been full of twists and turns, yet the Lord has lifted me up. When I am not working or studying, I reside with my dog Chrissy. Currently, I am a consultant to the food industry and a student at Concordia University. The Lord has given me the gifts of faith, leadership and encouragement. I am actively involved in my local congregation. Five years ago I helped start a ministry which provides outreach for single moms. I am not blessed to be a parent, but God has given me a heart for single parents and their children. The past seven years, I have mentored a single mother and her teen age daughter. Through this experience and my own personal journey, God has increased my love and compassion for those with shattered lives and broken hearts. My personal mission statement for my life is as follows: Simple Abundance and Joy through Faith, Friends and Balance. I am looking forward to hearing some of your stories too.
