May the Lord bless you. ************************************************I am interested in meeting someone who loves the Lord with all their heart, mind and strength. I am looking for a friendship first, with someone who loves God with all their heart, who is relatively mature spiritually and emotionally (i. e. has worked through or is working through issues from the past), someone who is intelligent and loves a good discussion, has a good sense of humour, physically active and enjoys the outdoors, tolerant, and peace-loving, sensitive and caring. For myself, I am a bit of a mixture-- outgoing and yet shy in certain situationsserious at times, but enjoy a good laugh, like people, but need my own space too. I tend to be analytical, and enjoy discussing issues, can see both sides of a situation, and am usually tolerant of other people's opinions. I am a warm, caring and sensitive individual. I enjoy reading, sewing, board games, camping, hiking, biking, nature walks, going to museums, Christian concerts, movies, and listening to music. Although currently I am an analyst in a government department, and I really enjoy my work, I would love to be in Christian counselling one day, either as a volunteer or a professional. Although as I noted above, I am looking for a friendship and possibly more, I am also hoping to find a ministry partner - someone who shares my heart for the broken-hearted and downtrodden, for those who have lost their hope. (Isaiah 61: 1-3). I know that God has a plan and I am simply waiting upon Him to bring it about in His time. I have been a born-again Christian for 20+ years. Although there have been ups and downs, God has been faithful, and continues to be so. He is my Rock, my Strong Tower, a very present refuge in times of need. I want to hear more clearly His voice, and be in the place where He wants me to be. Romans 8:28, Phil. 4:8, Romans 12:1-2, are just a few of my favorites. Blessings!
