I like to read the foofy sections of the New York Times, like the Arts and the Home Design and the Travel sections, and of course Thursday Style, my favorite of all, along with poetry--think Rilke--and contemporary literary fiction. I'm in college studying Spanish and Religious Studies with an eye on the Ivory Tower, but I also feel a deep passion for the poor and disenfranchised in America and the world. I'm a member of the United Church of Christ (UCC) and a liberal feminist Democrat.
