Christ Crucified is how I live my life. My life's goals are: 1. To glorify God in all I say and do, inside and outside the church walls. 2. To see God's creation through His grace and mercy and to be a willing, open vesselfor Him to flow His love and compassion unto a lost and dying world. 3. To ultimately find a mate who desires to share the ministry of discipleship until His blessed return. Until that happens, I would be blessed just to have opportunity to share life and God's word with other individuals. What can a profile really say about another person? Everyone wants to put forth his/her best foot, hoping to catch the interest of that one special person. Really, is there that one special person - that one and only that we spend our whole life searching, hoping to find. Or are there several individuals out there that are walking the same path we are and it is just about meeting them and then allowing God to turn our heart towards one another. I am not sure. . . but in either case. . . . below is who I am. . . no pretenses, no lies, what you read is really who I am. Love is not a feeling, it is an act of one's will that says regardless of how hot the fire is that we walk through, we will walk through it together in service towards one another by always putting the needs of the other before our personal needs. I enjoy the outdoors - camping, sailing, bike riding and going to the beach. I am learning to golf and practicing the skills I have learned has been very interesting. I enjoy domestic activities such as quilting, cross stitch, and scrap booking. I am always in the mood for a good book or a really great conversation or a theological discussion - but not a theological debate. I enjoy road trips and cruises. Spending time with friends and family - having fun and sharing life - are moments that should be cherished and not taken for granted. I have been known to be spontaneous like taking a trip at the last minute or starting an unplanned home improvement project. It is said that laughter is good for the soul. I agree. . . . to go through life only laughing occasionally makes the heart sick. I believe life was meant to be simple and full of joy. I love to laugh and I laugh often. Friends say my laugh is contagious. I do not sweat the small things in life. Approximately 80 percent of what people worry about never happens, so let it go. So find the joy in life's situations - even through the hard times. Friends say I am very passionate about what I believe and what I hold true about life. One of my passions is investing in others through encouragement and service. One of the greatest joys I get out of life is seeing young teens succeed at facing their futures and sowing vision into their lives. I do not take for granted the moments God has given me. There is meaning in stopping to smell the roses, or to gaze into a star lit night, or to sit on the sand and watch the power of the waves and in all of that to see the awesomeness of our creator. So, when I am out having fun and having a good time, and just plain enjoying life, I am always aware of the dash in my life the line between the year of my birth and the year of my death on my tombstone. Are you storing up earthy treasures that rust and moths will destroy or has your life benefited the kingdom of God?
