Single Christian Network

Well, here goes. I'm a spirit-filled, on-fire, lover of the Lord. I know how much He loves me, so it's easy to love Him and others. My life has been totally changed over the past two years. I was attending Bible college and thought life was all about ministry and church. But, a friend of mine asked a question that would change my life and focus forever. He said, "What if all we talked about was how much Jesus loves us and how to have a relationship with Him?" I thought about it for 10 seconds and said, "That would change the world!!" We tend to get caught up in 'doing' Christian stuff, but never focus on the relationship. My focus was totally on ME and what I could do, not on HIM and what He has done. I have completely walked away from any form of religion in my life (no Bible school, no church. . . etc). It has been great. It's now all about my relationship with Him. Now the things that I 'do' are just an extention of His love through me, not me trying to 'work something up'. I work with the homeless here in Colorado Springs, and it's amazing! Some friends and I take out food and other things to them. We don't 'preach' at them at all. We just love on them. Then they come to us and ask us why we are different. That opens the door for us to talk about JESUS. It's not about us, it's about HIM. Praise the Lord. God bless and have a great day with Jesus.
