I enjoy reading history, the Bible, the classics, a variety of literary genres including poetry. Leisure time activities I enjoy include camping, hiking, swimming, traveling, gardening, and enjoying my grand daughter (6 mo. old) . I am positivein attitude, caring and compassionate, would like to do some volunteer service in a third world country, and travel in Europe for some months when I retire. I enjoy classical, choral and folk music, and I find pleasure in playing the piano for a group hymn sing.
Although I can't sing well any more, I enjoy doing so anyhow. I enjoy the awe-inspiring beauty of the mountains, the lake side, the forests and meadows, and I like to spend time with my family and friends in places like these.
