First, I want to say thank you for taking time to read my profile.
I am looking for a best friend who shares some of my passions. If your idea of adventure is watching sports and flipping channels on the tv, then look elsewhere. If you enjoy exploring a mountain path or exploring a new trail, then you could be getting near to my heart! If you are upbeat, positive, and think young, you've just scored in my book as well. Nature photography and creating art are just a few of my interests and passions. I am searching for someone who is innovative and creative and has a passion for life. A man whose faith just doesn't consist in going to church, but a true committed relationship with Jesus Christ. . . a Christ follower. . . I call it! I believe that any relationship that is going to work needs to have its foundations in Christian principles. I am not a Bible-thumper, but a person who lives and practices what she believes. I am seeking a committed long-term relationship. . Perhaps marriage. The truth is. . . I am not looking to rush into marriage with eyes closed and I'm not desperately lonely. Like many, I am seeking out companionship and, over time, a long-term relationship leading to marriage, an exceptional partnership!
Here are 10 essential components to a good relationship in my opinion:1. Loyalty and honesty2. Sensitivity and caring with a partner. 3. Making a fun, cozy, and warm home for my partner and me. #4. It is possible that I might spend the rest of my years alone. . Not co-habitating. . #5. I am not in a rush to find someone. #6. Marriage far outweighs living together or co-habitating. #7 A relationship with a member of the opposite sex does not mean it is a failure if at some point one or both want to see other people. #8. The goal is meeting people of the opposite sex is not to find a long term partner, because. . . go to the next one. . . #9. People come in and out of our lives. . . They teach us something. . . That's a good thing. #10. It takes time to know yourself and your situation. I'm a highly spontaneous person who always likes to try new things. Novel and unpredictable situations don't bother ne; instead I find them challenging and exciting. I tend to be focused and resourceful and I am able to juggle a lot of projects at the same time; as a result I am sometimes a whirlwind of activity. I have a firm grip on reality and enjoy living in the present tense. But I also have a keen imagination that enables me to lift off from time and space to be remarkably creative. Sometimes I am humorous and I am usually able to laugh at myself, and I enjoy entertaining others. People have told me that I have a feisty nature. . . just so you know!
I have a deep sense of compassion. I can show genuine insight into the needs of others; and am good at listening and talking; and express a genuine desire to be helpful; yet I am very easy-going. I have tolerance for others and their beliefs, I lack prejudice, have the ability to compromise and my occasional antics make me popular with others and a great companion. A quiet peaceful setting, perhaps outdoors (weather permitting) near a water setting or park. Somewhere there aren't many distractions so we can chat and get acquainted would be a great place to get acquainted. Get creative here!
Outdoor activities always get me going. . . That could be camping, hiking, or just following a country road to anywhere it leads. I especially enjoy digital photography and usually have my Nikon handy. I love art fairs and antique auctions and shops as well as unusual eating places. I also enjoy the sights in the city of St. Louis as well and am quite familiar with the city and it's amenities. I belong to our creative communications group (C2 at my church as well as a local camera club. My dream is to move to Colorado (or close-by) and engage in freelance photography and be near the mountains and my grand-daughter! Not in that order!.
I was born in Missouri and have traveled throughout the continental United States. . . West coast to east coast! I've traveled to the far end of South America with 12 other folks and gone tent camping alone in the mountains of Colorado. I might be found out on country roads just being "Out there' where there aren't too many other people around. I will travel down a road that I've never been before just to see what's there. I'd rather be with a guy who has big dreams and no money than a guy with no dreams and big money. Someone who's going to push me to my limits and then pull back with a warm hug at the last minute. The truth is, I'm just a nice lady who's looking for a very nice man to possibly spend the rest of my life with. I love funny guys who can hold me spellbound with a good story or make me laugh until I cry. I also love creativity and passion. Maybe it's your love of '80s movies, your baseball card collection or the fact that you moved across country with only a duffel bag -- it doesn't matter. The right man not only fascinates me but also brings out the best in me. We push each other to be the greatest people we can be. We bolster each other's egos and we leave short, thoughtful love messages for each other when we're away from one another. If you're comfortable in your own skin, have a strong sense of self and aren't afraid to expose your flaws, I'm sure we'll get along just fine. I will say that if you've got great eyes, are somewhat passionate about photography, or love being in the mountains, I'm already melting.
Whew! Did I say all this? And you're still awake? Wow! You must be something! congratulations!
