Greetings, I like to browse books in bookstores on the weekends. I like to see movies that will be non-offensive by not either grieving the Holy Spirit or taking the Lord's name in vain. On rare occasions I'll attend a Mensa activity. Right now, I have a "jones" for Hollywood musicals, especially ones with Fred Astaire hoofing. I buy movies on DVD and watch them on my computer as this is more relaxing, and economical than viewing everything at the theater. This way I also have control over the volume, inserting pauses, and reviewing scenes. Why not watch these DVD's on a TV?: because I don't have one(!), what with the quality (or lack thereof), of programming on the small screen. In order to guard my heart, direct action must be taken to avoid sensual sights and sounds that can awaken desires in a single man. Hey, I may be old, but I'm not dead yet, young'un! ;) I would like to correspond with friends, but can only consider never married friends for a serious relationship. I have been a servant of Christ for over three decades. This is my greatest gift received in life, and one I hope everyone on this site shares. God Bless you all. Bill
