I've been told that I resemble Tim McGraw. I don't see it though. I love to sing but do more Toby Keith, Poison, Andy Griggs, Montgomery Gentry, David Lee Murphy and Willie Nelson type songs. I have won almost every karaoke contest I have entered. the only one I did'nt was the last one and was told by the judges I didn't win because I sounded exactly like the artist who's songs I was doing. lol. I have written a few songs as well (mostly love songs) . I love photography and do it semi-professionally. I love to write stories although I don't have too much extra time to do it. I majored in photo-journalism in college, I guess that kind of explains it. LOL. I like to go out dancing and sing karaoke as well as hanging out around the house just spending time with someone special. I am probably one of the last true romantics, I love to pamper a woman and let her know just how special she is. I guess I'm kind of like Cervantes' Don Quixote looking for my Dulcinea. I was raised never to hit a woman, and can't stand guys who do. This little fact has caused me to get into a few bar fights. I'm former U. S. ARMY 82nd AIRBORNE and love to do dangerous yet fun activities. You only live life once, so I never want to have to say "could've, would've, should, ve. " I want to squeeze every last drop out of life, laughter, and love. I value an intellectual conversation over mundane babble any day. However I love to tell jokes and make people laugh. I would like to know what ever happened to the ladies, the honest to God true ladies that were so polite, sincere, proper, and just so damn pleasant to be around. the kind that you were proud to introduce to your family, not worried about that they may break out in 4 letter explictives and start talking about the bar fights they have been in or how they are going to kick someones ass or drink someone else under the table. Yah I might be a little old fashioned in what I'm looking for but I have old fashioned love to give. The kind that don't run out on you when things are not going so well. The kind that holds commitment sacred and would never cheat on you. The kind that is sted-fast and doesn't believe in divorce. The kind of love that would be there for you when everyone else has turned their back on you. The kind that would sacrifice all for your happiness. The kind of love that would defend you till my last breath. The kind that would honestly give their life for you. And the truely sad thing is no one seems to want the kind of love I have to offer anymore, they want in and out of the sack romances with 10 minute marriages and 5 second divorces. Bitter? maybe, but I don't give up that easy. . . I just keep looking, hoping and praying that one day God will bless me with the right woman.
I know this will not be popular with all of my friends but at least it's the truth. would you want anything less from a friend???
On a seperate note. . . . For those who are not familiar with the name Dulcinea, she was a character in the classic novel Don Quixote de La Mancha by the "cripple of Lepanto" Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. Dulcinea was the muse of Don Quixote. He aspired to be her champion. He loved her more than he loved himself and repeatedly sought to defend her honor and vanquish anyone or anything that sought to do harm to her. (Even the occasional windmill that was mistaken as a giant.)
