LOVE to laugh. . . am considered the "fun factor" in a most any group. That is NOT because I'm a party girl. . . . but rather because of my positive attitude and sense of humor. I can see humor in just about anything, and I think it's paramount to getyou through life's struggles. That said, I'm also loyal, sincere, intelligent, creative, forgiving, and above all, HONEST.
Love dancing, dining, reading, the beach, skiing, sailing, boating, long drives, theatre, movies, flea markets, antiques, bible study, the phone (for keeping in touch with my friends - lots. ) My background is Interior Design and I've been involved in various aspects of the field for the past 25 years - from owning my own business, writing a design column, selling furniture, and also outside sales, marketing, and interior design for real estate property managers.
I am very involved in my church, Calvary Chapel, ushering, greeting and doing refreshments for the congregation after service. I am a total extrovert as is evidenced by my choice of service to my church. I would love to find a man who prizes his integrity above all else. Someone who loves his family (mother, father, (if living) siblings, children and grandchildren and could embrace mine. Someone who knows that respect is the most important thing in a relationship because if you have that, everything else falls into place. I'd LOVE it if you have a great sense of humor - not cheesy jokes, (at least not all the time) but can look at life as an interesting adventure and see the lighter side and the absurdities of life. I'd like you to be my best guy friend FIRST and I'd like to go SLOWLY!!! We don't have to agree on everything, but we should agree on the "big" things. I'm very into communication - you'll never have to play guessing games with me. That said, I don't believe in screaming and yelling either, nor do I believe in the "cold shoulder", silent treatment, etc. (What does THAT solve?) When I disagree with someone, I present my case passionately but calmly and, hopefully, with my sense of humor in tact. If we are in a disagreement and you can make me laugh at myself, you've got it made. Being Italian, I used to be a brunette but time has changed things and my friends say I'm now a blonde - between the highlighting and the beach, I guess they're right. . . . smiling. I guess you could say I'm sort of "striped" - like the tigress I can be. I purrrrr. . . but I don't bite!! LOL I was involved in a mentoring program at the California Youth Authority for two years and met once/week with two young women there to encourage them to make better life/spiritual choices. They were parolled, so I now mentor a young pre-teen in my church. I also plan to become involved in the CASA Program at some point in the future.
These photos are recent. All taken within the last year and the main one was taken just a week or so ago in April, 07. No facelift - HONEST!!! Just very good genes - thank you, God!!! Now. . . in the interest of fairness. . . . please do not contact me if you don't have a picture on this site.
