I am a born again Christian that has a strong faith and loves the Lord. I would like to give you my testimony. I was raised in a Presbyterian church with my brothers and sister and learned and remember all the bible stories told us. I went through confirmation classes in 7th grade and probably professed my faith in front of the church. When I was in my early 20's my sister sent me tracks and always was after me to accept Jesus as my personal savior and confess my sins and be born anew in him. That he died to take away our sins and ask to be forgiven and give your life to him and walk in his ways. I truly prayed that prayer and was born anew that day, but didn't quite get the second part of waliking in his ways at that time in my life. Later in my early 30's when my sons were young I felt a sense of calling to get them to church to be nurtured and taught the stories of the Bible. I felt led here to this place called Wallingford Presbyterian Church, professed my faith again and this is where my spirit has been fed and molded and shaped into what I have become today. I am a strong person of faith, I love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul, I do my daily devotions, call on him many times throughout the day to praise and pray, I have sung in the choir for all those years and the handbell choir for the last 6 years. I don't sing any solos myself, but have sang in quartets once in awhile. I have been a Deacon, visiting the sick and lonely, a Trustee that helps care for the church and a Stephen Minister that walks along side of people going through a bad time of losing a job, losing a spouse, aging and lonely, etc. We do not fix the problem but share the love of Jesus Christ with them and walk through it with them and allow God to heal them. I have been truly blessed to be in ministry here at this church in my job as Administrative Secretary, that I help people that call in for help with whatever and I am the first person that most people see when they walk in our church. I usually know just about anything that someone wants to know or where to find it if I don't. I am interuppted many, many times a day and feel that at that very moment God is sending someone to me to help them and I graciously stop what I am doing and help them. I am very, very calm and love to listen to people and be in fellowship with them. I am one person that can truly say I love my job, because I do. I do not doubt my salvation and I know He has prepared a place for me.
