I am a person of integrity. I am committed to being a faithful and authentic follower of Jesus Christ. My family is very important to me and my children are my highest priority. I desire to be a person who recognizes and empathizes with the needs ofthe human heart, and who walks alongside people to bring them to an understanding of God's pleasant places and their delightful inheritance in Him.
So after reading others' profiles, I think mine sounds pretty formal and maybe a little too serious! I won't take that part out because it is the core of who I am, but I can add more "seasoning" to it. I love being a mom to my four kids - half are grown now and half are still in my nest. I have enjoyed every minute of raising them. However, I also love to be out doing things to make a difference. I am an AVID student - I absolutely love learning. I recently finished my degree after determining four years ago to go back to college. I am enjoying putting my knowledge to use in my "2nd" career.
I love music and have enjoyed singing and playing piano for many years. I especially like to work with children as a piano instructor. My life got very rocky for awhile but I have learned through it all that God is faithful and He does just what He says He will do. I am learning to trust Him in ways I never could before.
I could write a book, but this is enough for now - I do enjoy laughing, being with friends, entertaining, a good book, long walks, nature, and traveling. I especially love to study Asian culture and have visited Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
I'm looking for someone who values integrity as much as I do; someone who is honest in his dealings with himself, his family, and his associates; someone I can trust to fulfill his promises to me and to others; someone who loves the Lord and will also encourage me in my walk.
