My life is in transition. When I became widowed I had a choice - to quit living and wallow in my sorrow, or pick up the shattered pieces of my life and see what the Lord and I could build from them. As a result, I've moved into new areas of ministry, taken courses online, begun writing three books, and am currently in the process of moving to a new home. The Lord is the love of my life, but He knows I've been lonely and that if He has someone for me, I'm more than willing. Although I've attended Assemblies of God churches for years (I was a pastor's wife. ) I'm currently attending a small Souhern Baptist church with my parents since they are having problems driving. I consider myself a Christian, not a denomination, so I go where the Spirit leads. I love to travel, read and garden. I have a 4 year old Harlequin Great Dane who is my constant companion. I am intelligent, resourceful, and can be very silly at times. I'm quiet in person, but verbose in text, tender-hearted but a fierce defender when need be, complex with simple needs, passionate for Christ and with a heart longing to share that love with the right man.
