My friends say I'm intelligent, caring, down to earth, honest, loyal, creative, and have a great sense of humor. I like people who make me laugh without trying, just being themselves, and I like to make people laugh who don't think they have a sense of humor. I also like being teased by those I'm fond of (and I can dish it out). I'm flexible on non-essentials. I like to give and receive affection (verbally and physically). I'm a good listener and will not try to fix your problems but will help if asked. I'm good at practical things around the house. (Yeah!)
I would love to meet a woman who is a good communicator, has a similar spirituality, is committed to resolving conflicts, is affectionate, genuine, and has a few similar interests as me. I love films and theatre, reading, writing, acting, dining at home and out, and hanging out. I love art of all kinds - it energizes me, but I'm not snobbish or esoteric. Very down to earth and more laid back than intense. I love kids. I listen to (don't play) jazz, folk, and rock music. I like dancing, sometimes in the car with the music up or in the kitchen. Outdoors, I love camping, hiking, kayaking, car trips and traveling abroad, and particaularly walks on the beach. My dream holiday would be a week at a cottage (or camping) on the Oregon Coast. Words are my work world. I teach ESL and am a writer. My faith, family and friends are most important to me. I love kids. I believe God wants transparency and integrity more than having all the correct doctrine. I like to hear a person's faith implied naturally in who they are and what they say.
