I'm a Christian single with a great sense of humor. My relationship with the Lord is the most important thing in my life and I try to live by the standards and example He set for us.
I grew up in Northern VA, lived in Va Beach for 20 years and moved back here to be closer to family. I'm looking for a simpler, quieter kind of life - although I'm in the corporate world and have to drive in towards the city every day. I'm comfortable going to a 5-star restaurant and the National Theatre for a grand night out or going on a camping trip and having to go days without a hair dryer and running water. I enjoy outdoor activities and camping. I'm a certified scuba diver and love whitewater rafting. I love history and trivia and read both Christian and non-Christian books. I very much enjoy home improvement projects and working to make my house a nicer place.
I'm a people person and enjoy kids as well as seniors. I don't play games and value honesty and kindness. I'm open for adventure, but also like nice quiet evenings at home. If I had to explain it as simply as I could, I'd say that what I'm looking for is a man after God's heart who wants to put the Lord first in all things. If that's truly the top priority, the rest should fall into place.
