I am a 43 B/M and I am in the military, I have a combined service of 15 years of service, I presently reside in PA but my home is in North Carolina. I love school and presently studying to be a chaplain, the college that I attend is Liberty out of Lychburg VA, which I do by distance learning, the degree plan is a BA in religion which is excelerated meaning my classes are only eight weeks at a time, 21 cedits to go as of today. I love helping people especially talking to men and sharing what I have learned about manhood. Most of my time is taken up by studying but I am trying to learn how to relax, have fun, and be happy again which is not easy.
I love the ocean, fishing is one of my favorite past times, also I like to read, inspirational books are a favorite. I also love to clean and sometimes cook, watching movies is another favorite past times, just having the opportunity to kick back and forget about the everyday stresses of life and share a good moving with someone would be relaxing. I would love to have someone who would just share a moment of relaxing on the couch with a favorite blanket, with a favorite beverage, along with a favorite movie. I would like to meet someone who understands where I am going in life and is not afraid of walking beside me, not behind or in front of me. It is very important that this person understands what it means to keep me in constant prayer because the journey I am on is not an easy one by far, this person also needs to keep me uplifted as much as possible (not an easy task) . Basically this person needs to be understanding of what we are to accomplish as one and not as individuals! I feel if two people come together and understand what their positions are as friends, as a couple, and in a relationship. For most each individual needs to definitely understand what it means to be a woman and what it means to be a man, and understand these positions in a home. Now, here is where it gets very intresting; now do we understand what these positions are by what God says and not by what (Man) says. I also would like to give that special person in my life a gift, and that gift is a book called (The Five Love Languages) . I promise that special some one that I will speak your love language as often as I can, with a minimum of atleast once a day if not more.
I have a dual job in the military, on the civilian side my job title is Information Technology Specialist, I deal with computers, networking, and customer support, study for a BA in Religion, I have taken three personal classes on dealing with Manhood. I am in the process of taking my third manhood class which I really enjoy. These classes have been a great learning experience and I one day will be able to share everything that I have learned with men and on a personal level will be able to share it with a family.
First DateWell, I think a first date should be where two people can feel each other out, by this I mean in a neutral place where both parties involved feel comfortable. To me this is very important, although I would let the lady pick the place. This place should have a gentle atmostphere, not to noisy and definitley not to busy. Basically it should be where both people can relax, because if you think about it, the more relaxed you are the more you will communicate. The first date should be of a get to know you type date, and will definitely tell you if there is another one to follow!!
