Hello, I'm a friendly, outgoing gal. I am flexible and easy to get along with. I have a sense of humor, something that is necessary when teaching junior high kids! I am structured and organized, less so in summer when it's nice to relax and not be on the go all the time. I will admit I hate slow computers and slow traffic, those things make me crabby but most of the time I'm pretty down to earth & laid back.
I am a christian, I was saved when I was 15 and have been walking with the Lord more or less ever since then. I have learned over the years that a relationship with God is similar to a relationship with people. It takes commitment, time, and an understanding that there will be ups and downs, meaning we all have spiritual mountain top or valley experiences. While I don't go to church every Sunday, I read the Bible and my devotional book every morning. My faith is an important part of who I am. I love kids, critters and the outdoors. In my spare time I enjoy camping, canoeing, hiking, biking. I also have fun reading and sewing, my rainy day hobbies. I enjoy baseball, but in my opinion, the best teams are the Little League teams my 6 and 10 year old nephews are on. I like other sports as well, mostly from a spectator standpoint. I am anxiously awaiting the 2008 olympics.
