Networking and friendships are my main focus but of course I wouldn't turn a blind eye to the right godly man. I trust God and want to be led into the right relationship (Romans 8:14). I'm excited about what God is doing not just for me personally but for my community. Recently I have been given the opportunity to spend more time with my kids and participate in my church intercessory prayer group. That is the kind of thing that is important to me. Prayer matters and it makes a difference. If you haven't guessed, my username is a reference to the author of Pilgrims Progress. I like to read. I like cooking, nature, and the outdoors (which is a must when you live in Alaska). I like fishing, kayaking, camping (in a tent--RV's don't count), hiking, John Wayne, and martial arts movies (don't really like chick flicks). My priorities are God first followed by my children of course and we are a package deal (who could be so blessed--they are wonderful). I believe in abstinence until marriage (it really is biblical). I only thought to mention that because so many Christians seem to conveniently forget that. I am raising children and leading by example is a good way to teach. . . that's what Jesus did. I love my church and my Pastors. I'm open to whatever God has in store for me (and whoever. . . he knows what I like better than I do). I do realize that the few sad photos I have posted are really lousy but I'm just going to be honest. . . I don't care. I have not yet decided if I want to be a member. . . Well, of course there is much more to tell but quite honestly I am getting thumb-cramps and going slightly cross-eyed. Please ignore the spelling and formatting errors--I'm on a PALM.
