I enjoy Gospel, Jazz, and some R&B music, especially Luther Vandross. The reading/books written by Ernest Gaines, and ofcourse, without saying the Holy book, the BIBLE, opens my mind and heart to the real meaning of God's eternal LOVE.
I look for the good in others, for God said, "Let us make man in our image, with our likeness, " and it was Good!
I have learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will get better tomorrow.
I have learned that no matter what's your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they are gone from your life.
I have learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I have learned that even when I am hurting, I do not have to hurt others.
I have learned that if I pursue happiness, it will elude me, but if I focus on my heavenly Father, my family, the needs of others, and my work for the kingdom of God, I will enjoy the union of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit within me.
I have learned that, "The shortest distance between a problem and the solution, is the distance between my knees and the floor. "
Most of all, I have come to rely on the fact that with my heavenly father's guidance, ALL things are possible!
