Single Christian Network

I am first and foremost a follower of Christ. He is my rock and my shelter. My personal relationship with Him is #1 in my life. He gives me strength and I know I can accomplish all things through Him. I seek His Will daily by reading His word, praying and listening for the Holy Spirit in my life. I surround myself with strong Christians and lean on them often. We grow together as we fellowship with each other. I am active in my church and go where I believe God is leading me. My favorite passage in Scripture is Rom 5:1-5 and it has got me through some very tough times. I am a single father with full custody of three wonderful children. I have a wonderful 13 year old daughter, a tough but kindhearted nine year old son and a cute as a button four year old daughter. I live alone with my three kids and love every minute I spend with them (ok, maybe not every "minute" but 99% of them anyway) . God has given me a wonderful family and I have been very blessed by His ever loving grace. I would call myself kind of artsy in the way I think. I know, a hippy Christian is an Oxymoron but I am not quite that extreme. I believe God gave us wonderful minds to think for ourselves and we should not lump all Christians in a box and say this is how you should act and this is what you should believe. Read the word, have an open heart and see what God reveals to you.
