I'm a contrast: serious when it comes to my commitment to Christ, family and friends, friendly and lighthearted in fellowship and sensitive to the balance required for quiet in my life. 1 Thes 4: 11-12 is one of my goals. I enjoy a variety of activities: time with family, walking my dog, reading, swimming, watching old movies. . . . . . I get pleasure out of many simple day-to-day things: the beauty of a sunrise or sunset, the smell of fresh coffee or laundry as it comes out of the dryer, the choice of that day's perfume. . . . I believe God desires character more than comfort and I long to grow in my walk with the Lord and honor Him in all things. I'm involved in my local church as well as short term missions.
