I'm trusting the Lord to direct my steps and lead me to someone who is growing daily in the Lord with a teachable and Godly spirit, seeking to please Him, willing to live by faith for the daily necessities, enjoys hospitality, and has a serving heart.
I am full-time in ministry. The Lord has allowed me to be the founder and director of a ministry that assists independent Bible and Baptist churches and church related ministries. I have written and continue to write many resource materials. I enjoy sharing the Gospel through building relationships and mentoring/discipling believers. I have conservative views with regard to my Christian faith, music, marriage, and politics. Although I have a tendency to be serious, analytical, and consumed with my work/ministry I realize the need to take time to relax and "smell the roses. " :)
I enjoy casual walks and occasional hiking, particularly in wooded areas and parks. I'm more of a country person although I do enjoy walking along the beach on occasion. Taking rides through the country, visiting historic places, bike riding, or having a picnic by a stream are examples of my leisure activities. I also enjoy drama, particularly performed by those in Christian schools. I don't wish to offend anyone, but I can only consider those who have never been married or are widows. I know there are many varying situations God allows in each of our lives, many of which we don't have control over. By limiting my choices I am not inferring those who have been or are divorced are any less spiritual. I realize there may be biblical reasons for divorce and remarriage. My decision has to do with the nature of my ministry and to protect the name of Christ from possible false accusations. In the mean time I am learning to be content in the state I am in until the Lord brings the person of His choice into my life. Thank you for your understanding.
