On a first date, I would like to go to a place where both people can be confortable and get to know each other. Maybe a walk in the park, on the beach, a dinner or a simple cup of coffee. It could be over a relaxing drink or glass of wine. After thefirst date then a place where both would enjoy the outing.
What I am looking for in a partner?A Partner who believes in the healing that comes from laughter, tears, experiences, and stories shared. Who believes in the wisdom that can be found in simply having fun together, and in the truths that are born out of trust and honesty. Who believes in the strength that comes from one holding another through a dark night and in miracles that can happen when we see ourselves, creating the ability to love, just the way we are.
I'd just like to add. . . God has shown me many things in my life but most likely the most important is to be helpful and to guide. Not to push or dominate but to lead by example. I do not like scripture battles that only reveal opinion. (why we have so many demonations) I believe in a loving, forgiving , understanding God. If I had to live by a creed it would be Accept others as they are, Forgive them for for what they have been and Love them for what they can be.
Quick Story. 5:30 AM, I went to leave for work, as I drove out the drive-way I scraped, so I stopped to see the problem. My right front tire was all but flat. I drove over to the closest station (2 blocks). The tire was flat, no air hoses out yet. So I decided I better change it. I have a Rivera and it has a special lug nut so people can't steel your tires. The lug wrench would not fit it.
I can't be late - Oh crap what to do now. I fummed around a minute or so and As usual a little prayer for help - more like "HELP!!!". I saw a cop turning the corner and I started waving him to come - He did, his lug wrench fit the special one. I got to work on time with time enough to stop and have a biscut, egg and sausage.
Thank You Father
Much of the time it is the little things that count!
