I am a Christian man and father; a widower who was blessed with eight years of happy marriage; professionally employed; a positive, even-keeled, upbeat person; a good listener; strong belief in God; care about others; ambitious; hard worker; good sense of humor; not given to sarcasm; successful; romantic (willing to send flowers and balloons on occasion--don't mind getting them, either) ; humble (have a quiet confidence); sentimental; intelligent; family-oriented; physically fit (not obsessed, but have pride in my appearance); friendly; loyal (much like an old dog); good conversationist; a sports fan. In general, my friends tell me I'm "just a nice guy". God has been very gracious to me in making my life happy and satisfying, and I'm looking now for that special person to enhance it even more! When I'm not working, you might find me in a do-it-yourself project around the house; up at my cabin in the high country pounding nails (nearly finished with a 2-story addition); playing golf; doing yard work/home improvements (even laundry); watching a MN Vikings football game; eating in or going out; watching a movie--video or theater; exercising (home workout room); bicycle riding or walking (especially up at the cabin); lake fishing in the upper Midwest (summers only ;-); listening to music, and of course, spending time with my daughter, now 14 (even roller coasters)! Most of all, I look forward to doing these types of things with someone special!
