I have spent most of my life defending this country and our values and still do. I retired from the Marine Corps in 2000. My daughter is married to a sailor on the USS Cole. She has a daughter and son of her own. I have not spent much of the last ten years for myself. I focused too much on my career and commitment to the nation. I have been all over the world and United States. If it is on the news, I have personal experience. My 4 bedroom home is getting too large to spend alone. I have distracted myself through constant home improvement projects or car projects. The pond is a great example. The trickling stream and antics of the fish are meant to be shared while sitting on a nearby bench or walking casually through the garden.
